Epic Life

Do you enjoy hollywood epic with exciting plots and exotic settings? Are you enthralled with fights with dragons and other mythical beasts? Are you awed by the dedication of protagonists in their quest to make their world a better place and the selfless service they put in? Do you feel elated with the happy endings after so much sufferings? I usually enjoy such stories and I am a sucker for happy endings.

Incidentally, that's the kind of life we have been called to live, an opportunity to live out such an adventure, as a Christian. We have been called to fight demons, tear down evil altars, make sacrifices to make our lives and our world a better place, with a view to a very happy ending at the end.

God wants to use you to right wrongs, to be a blessing to others, as a general in his army.
That's the Christian walk, a call to service. The protagonists in movies are usually ordinary people like you and I, but they were called and they answered.

God is not really looking for able people, He wants available people He will make able. God is always ready, we just need to get ready, we need to get interested. We need to take responsibility, and be committed.

The good news is He'll be with us every step of the way. He'll walk the walk with us!

Good News!

Isaiah 61:1-3
The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me,
because the LORD has anointed me;
He has sent me to bring good news to the afflicted,
to bind up the brokenhearted,...
To proclaim liberty to the
captives,
release to the prisoners,

To announce a year of favor from the LORD
and a day of vindication by our God;
To comfort all who mourn;

to place on those who mourn in Zion
a diadem instead of ashes,
To give them oil of gladness
instead of mourning,
a glorious mantle instead of a faint spirit.

Life generally is hard. Things are not easy! We here of untimely deaths, terrible accidents, crimes, broken marriages, and many more. Most of humanity are not happy. And the reason is that the work lies in wickedness! 1 John 5:19.

But there's a good news, Christ has come to translate you into the kingdom of Light. Light makes for flight, it enables conquest. The light of the Lord is the solution to every man's need. At the appearance of light, darkness flees.

Are you saved? Are you born again? If you would like to be translated into this kingdom of light and partake of the promises of Isaiah 61, say the prayer below and type amen. God bless you today!

Salvation Prayer
Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.

God is at Work

Did you know that God is at work even now? Did you know that God is giving away miracle packages right now? Did you know that at least a miracle package has your name on it?

Yes, God wants to bless you, now. He wants to answer your prayers and give you that miracle you desire. He wants to decorate your life!

Before I started writing this, I prayed. I told God I know this message is not for every person, but whoever it is intended for shall find it and it shall speak in his or her life. That is why I am persuaded that you are a candidate for visitation in this month of power....

These are diverse testimonies of God's touch in people's lives and you're next in line for testimonies. God is ready to give, you just have to be ready to receive.

Things you need to do:
Be born again. Jesus said healing is the children's bread, not for those who are not saved. If you want to receive Jesus as your Lord and saviour, go to the page defined by the link below and say the salvation prayer and type Amen: https://m.facebook.com/groups/210426659130590?view=permalink&id=211380709035185&refid=18&_ft_

the next thing you need to do if you are saved is to believe that God really wants to bless you. The bible says in Philippians 4:19, "but my God shall supply all your need according to his great riches in glory." He who gave us His son can give us all we can ask.

Then you pray. Talk to God of your needs. Children ask for what they need believing their parents would give them. They don't beg. So you ask in faith believing you will receive.

Praise and thank God for a prayer answered. Confess positively. And expect your miracle. The bible says in Proverbs 24:14 that your expectation shall not be cut off when you have the knowledge of wisdom.

Why We May Undergo Suffering

I was typing a message I prepared before when my spirit told me to write this instead. So I do!

One of the controversies about God is why does he allow sufferings. If he's really good as we're told, and as powerful as he claims, then he should be able to prevent people from suffering, if he loves them.

I am going through some hard times. Those that know me know this. And some are trying to blame a particular individual for this, but I found out it's no person's fault but mine. I am at the root of my problems, and I know why. So I also know that like a storm it will soon be over....

I will not say anything about why God allows suffering in the first place. That will be the topic for another day if my spirit ever leads me towards that. But why do we suffer as individuals?

I'm assuming that I'm writing for Christians, that is, people that have taken the step to be children again, those that are born again. Those that are outside the household of God suffer for quite different reasons and now is not the time to discuss that.

If you want to be a Christian by receiving Christ into your life, click the link below, say the prayer and type amen.

https://m.facebook.com/groups/210426659130590?view=permalink&id=211380709035185&refid=18&_ft_

But why do Christians suffer?

We suffer when we allow it, most of the times. We are usually at fault, and never God. The bible says that he who lowers the hedge, him the snake will bite. So how do we lower the hedge?

By sinning. When we sin, God may allow satan to afflict us, to draw our attention to our transgression.

Two, by disobedience. This is when we know God wants us to do a specific thing and we decide not to, or he doesn't want us to and we do. Sometimes we excuse ourselves by saying it wasn't God that spoke, but does it excuse us before God?

Three, when we don't carry our cross. Followizi Christ involves carrying a cross. It may be in the form of ministry, a sacrifice we need to make, praying and fasting for strength. When we don't want to carry this cross, satan gives us his own and we suffer. There's always a cross, but Jesus says his own is light.

Four, when we are smatter than God. We go and ask God to follow us. We can walk into dangers.

Five, when God wants to change our level. We prove it by undergoing tests. A higher level means more brokenness, and he breaks us. It's for our upliftment.

So when we undergo some hardships, let us try to know why. We may just be the cause tho sometimes it's God working at times to change our status. But in the most times it's our fault, let's find the faults and mend them.

All Things Are Ready

And the king said, go and tell the esteemed guests to come for the feast because ALL THINGS ARE READY! Read Luke 14:16-24.

Friend I don't want to know what your need is, I don't care how long you've prayed concerning that desire, it doesn't even matter how big the problem is. God is saying to you today, COME UNTO THE FEAST BECAUSE ALL THINGS ARE READY!
...
That which you desire from God is ready, but are you?

Some people think that God likes wasting time before he answers prayers, but God exists outside time. He know the end from the begining. He made the world in 6 days, he can give you a job now. He can give you a husband now. He can give you admission now.

These are diverse testimonies of the strange and powerful workings of the Word. God is constant, He doesn't change, He's always ready! But are you ready?

To be ready, you have to be born again. That is the first step. The bible said in John 3:3 that no one can see the kingdom of God without being born again. It just cannot manifest in your life.

You need to have faith. He who must receive from God must believe that he exists and that he is a rewarder of those that seek him, Hebrews 11:6.

You must love God and your fellow men and let that love show.

Forsake every sin, sinful habits and habitual sins. Holiness is required.

Serve God. He differentiates between those that serve him and those that serve him not.

Give. The bible says God remembers our offerings in times of adversity. Our tithes pave way for our breakthrough.

Pray with the Spirit of faith. Prayer allows you knock on the door of heaven and place your demand.

Praise. Be thankful, be praised filled. Be cheerful. Stop worrying. Praise has the ability to bring down the glory of God.

Find the appropriate word by studying the Word. The word of faith is a powerful tool in demanding for our birthright in the spirit.

Listen to the Holy Spirit and he will guide you into remaining truths.

Friends, all things are ready, just be in the position to recieve.

She Missed It

A woman married as a virgin. She had lived a life of chastity and I admired her. But her story doesn't end here.

This woman was proud of her virginity because many of her mates had lost theirs. And she thought herself better than most people. She felt like the chosen few among the many that were called.

She became puffed up. She became proud. She became rude. ...

Men liked her because she was beautiful. They admired her because she appeared godly. They even enjoyed her rudeness if they thought they had a chance with her.

Now I'm guessing the part in this paragraph. I didn't know her well then to be sure that it happened, but I guess it did because things follow a pattern, almost always. So if I'm correct, a man came into her life, the man who understood her, but 'he was lowly and riding on an ass', Zechariah 9:9, and she didn't WANT to recognize him. She was too special and better men deserved her.

And she did marry. The man enjoyed the rudeness and other things that goes with pride the first year, tried hard the second year, endured it the third year. With time he gave up. And looked for happiness and fulfillment outside his marital home.

Our lives are like a bible, the letters kill, it is the spirit that gives life. The letter is the things we do, the spirit is the love we put into it. Paul said things done without love are worthless. I know they can be dangerous. Without love, virtues easily become curses instead of blessings.

True righteousness is obtained from God not the result of our own efforts so that on one will boast, Ephesians 2:8-9. Love helps us recognise this. A true heart for God enables us to love those we're better than and try to help them. We don't look down on them, not even in our minds, for we know that we are what we are by grace only. That is Christianity. That is spirituality!

When the woman sees her husband bring women into their home, she weeps, she cries, she blames God, you see most of the time they NEVER know where they missed it.

They missed it when they prefer self righteousness over God's kind of righteousness. They missed it when they told God they knew what they deserved more than Him. They missed it when they refused to answer the call to love. And thus destinies are lost day by day.

Let us humble ourselves. Let us REALLY allow the love of God to shine through our lives. It is the light of the world, and the pillar of our lives. In all we do and say today, let the love be felt. Anything said without love is not worth saying, even if we're refering to our most bitter enemy. Love is the answer, love is the way! Let it shine in your manner of life today!

NOTE: It is impossible to love God without being his child. If you'll love to accept Jesus into your life, drop a comment or send me a message.

Are You Walking Right

Many people while filling forms claim they're Christians, but are they? What about you, are you a Christian? Do you believe in Jesus as Lord and Saviour? Have you received Him into your life?

Being a Christian goes beyond having a form of godliness. Many people think they're on the right path because they can list a number of big sins they don't commit. But what about the small ones? What bout the unnoticeable sins, the little foxes that spoil the vine? Do you still speak against people behind their back? Do you punish people indefinitely telling themselves they deserve what you're doing to them? Do you think you're better than most people and thus treat them like they're pieces of shit? Do you snub? Do you discuss individuals, dissect and condemn them? Is your conscience... sensitive to know where you've got things wrong? Is Christ working in you to make you better? If your family and friends never wondered how come you're being nicer due to the way you treat them and the people around you, then perhaps we need to think again before we answer the question, are you a child of God?

Being a child of God even when it's slow to show in the things you do, always shows in the attitude. How do you look at people? Christians see people through the eyes of Jesus, and Jesus never condemned any sinner. Christianity has more to do with reactions than actions. How do you react to people and circumstances you don't like. This speaks more of who you are than the things you do. If you nurse a grudge for more than a week, watch it, especially when you're tying so hard to convince yourself that you're not nursing a grudge.

Christianity is a means by which God makes us to be like him gradually. So if there's no definite way in which you're making progress towards perfection, if your friends and family see no change in the way you react to circumstances, then you may need to go back. You may need to ask God to help you be Christian. You may need a second touch.
